Generally the Shoe manufacturers come across the problems of residuals left on the mould of shoes. Removal of these residuals, many a times, is not an easy task by many of the methods being used. Generally acids / chemicals are used to remove rubber residual on molds. This process have various drawbacks i.e. residual acids or chemicals damage mold surface and results in reduced footwear quality, cost of acid is high, poisonous acid fumes cause serious health problems, disposal of acids is difficult etc. Synco has come up with solution for cleaning of molds by glass bead blasting process that furnishes an easy process of cleaning of residual rubber from molds keeping mold surface unaffected. We can visualize the effectiveness of this process from photograph of the mold before and after blast cleaning.
