Synborcano TM Pressure Blasting Series:
Pressure Blasting Series Synborcano Nozzles not only utilize the same fine 19mm (3/4") thread as the Short Series nozzles, but also feature a longer, venture style design. Being a venture type nozzle, the Medium Series Nozzles provide much higher abrasive velocities than straight bore nozzles along with wider blast patterns. These features ensure much faster cleaning rates, while allowing the Medium Series Nozzles to be used with smaller capacity blast pots, using only 12.5mm (1/2") blast hose.
Synborcano TM Suction/Wet Blasting Series:
Suction/Wet Boron Carbide nozzles have inner liner and an aluminum outer sleeve, incorporating a 3/4" (19mm) straight thread, for connection to the nozzle holder. These Blast Nozzles may also be utilized for spot blasting small areas or weld seams if the blast pattern from a venture nozzle would be inappropriate and wasteful due to its size.
Engineered for Efficient Surface TreatmentBlasting nozzles are carefully engineered to provide reliable performance during sandblasting, shot blasting, and industrial surface cleaning projects. Manufactured using ceramic, tungsten carbide, and boron carbide, these nozzles exhibit exceptional wear resistance. The aluminum housing adds durability while keeping the weight at a manageable 250 grams, making them ideal for extended usage in demanding environments.
Versatile Design to Suit Industrial ApplicationsRanging in diameters from 6 mm to 10 mm and 4 inches in length, these blasting nozzles are designed for compatibility with a variety of abrasive media and blasting equipment. The straight and Venturi pattern options cater to specific cleaning or finishing needs, and the milled finish ensures optimal material flow. Operating safely at pressures up to 7 bar, they provide consistent, high-quality results.
FAQs of Blasting Nozzles:
Q: How are these blasting nozzles typically used in industrial applications?
A: These nozzles are primarily used for sandblasting, shot blasting, and surface cleaning, enabling efficient removal of rust, paint, or contaminants from metal, concrete, and other surfaces. Their precision design ensures uniform abrasive flow, improving surface finish quality.
Q: What materials are available for these blasting nozzles, and how does that benefit the user?
A: You can choose from ceramic, tungsten carbide, or boron carbideeach offering varying degrees of hardness and wear resistance. This allows users to select a nozzle that best suits their abrasive material and frequency of use, leading to longer service life and reduced replacement costs.
Q: When should I choose a straight pattern versus a Venturi pattern nozzle?
A: A straight pattern nozzle is ideal for concentrated, high-intensity blasting needed for smaller or focused areas. The Venturi pattern, on the other hand, is recommended for broader surface coverage and improved abrasive velocity, making it more efficient for larger surface cleaning projects.
Q: Where can these nozzles be installed, and what equipment are they compatible with?
A: These nozzles are designed for installation in sandblasting and shot blasting machines that accommodate a 1/2 inch NPT air inlet. Their varying diameters (6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm) ensure compatibility with most standard blasting hoses and systems used in industrial and construction sites.
Q: What is the process for connecting the nozzle to the blasting system?
A: Installation involves attaching the nozzle with its 1/2 inch NPT threaded inlet to the compatible blasting hose or holder. Ensure the connection is secure and the air pressure does not exceed the 7 bar rating for optimal performance and safety.
Q: How does using a high-quality milled finish nozzle benefit the blasting process?
A: A milled finish ensures a smooth internal surface, reducing abrasive wear on the nozzle and promoting consistent material flow. This results in more efficient operation, uniform blasting patterns, and a superior finish on cleaned surfaces.
